Traditional British – Tasty food, lovingly presented
A celebratory menu to impress friends and loved ones for a special family gathering or birthday celebration.
One dish from each of the below courses is to be chosen for the whole group, to create a bespoke set menu.
Pre starter / canapes (either served as canapes during a welcome reception or seated, if you want to go straight into the dining room for dinner).
Duck egg mayonnaise on crustini with buttered asparagus tips
Spring onion scone with goats cheese & red onion chutney
Hot Smoked Salmon mousse with rocket salad, citrus dressing and home-made bread
Spiced cauliflower & parsnip soup, garnished with watercress & pancetta
Slow cooked beef cheeks with a red wine reduction, with truffle mash, green beans & roasted carrots
Slow roasted Pork Belly with crispy crackling, savoy cabbage, sea salted new potatoes, honey roasted carrots and a cider and onion cream sauce
Corn fed chicken supreme with fondant potato, wild mushroom and white wine cream sauce and wilted seasonal greens
(v aubergine parmigiana with parmesan crisp & home-made basil pesto)
Mango Parfait with passionfruit meringue kisses
Coconut & raspberry creme brûlée with cardamon shortbread
Traditional British menus start from £35 per person for a 3 course meal with extra courses and canapes charged separately. This is based on a group of 20+ with smaller groups quoted on a bespoke basis.
Included in the above:
– Still and sparkling water, served on the table for the duration of the evening
– Service, no additional tips are expected on the evening
Wine can either be paired with the above courses by our wine merchant & served by the bottle. Or alternatively you can bring your own & we then just ask for a per person contribution towards glass hire & cleaning.
