Your Thai Cookery Class
Throughout the day, Andrew will demonstrate a variety of dishes for you to replicate. We will cover making fresh curry pastes from scratch & how to adapt these to different recipes. You will cook and enjoy different Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, Green Thai curry and Tom Yum Soup.
Throughout the day you’ll enjoy the food you’ve cooked in our private dining room with everyone else. A chance to share your experiences in creating the dishes as well as great food.

This one-day Thai cooking course is perfect for those wanting to learn the four cornerstones of Thai cooking – sweet, sour, salty and hot and how to incorporate these in new flavour combinations and different dishes. The aim is that you will leave Seasoned with new skills, inspiration and confidence to recreate these dishes at home.
Your chef tutor
Andrew Kojima, based in the Cotswolds, it a British / Asian chef who has had a very successful career to date. After appearing on the TV program, MasterChef in 2012, Andrew soon became known within the food industry as one to watch. His time on MasterChef was lengthy, as he reached the final. Since then, Andrew turned professional and now teaches at a variety of cookery schools & demonstration areas. Andrew has also travelled in Asia & is passionate about Thai cuisine having worked in the UK’s only Michelin starred Thai restaurant. Andrew now runs a Japanese restaurant in Cheltenham and teaches at Seasoned Cookery School.
About your day
This Thai cooking course will take place at Seasoned Cookery School on the Catton Estate in South Derbyshire. Close to Derby, Lichfield, Birmingham and Leicestershire Seasoned has excellent transport links and ample free parking.
Through the day you’ll have the support of our “kitchen fairies” who’ll take care of everything from morning coffee to washing your pots & pans. We will provide everything – all your equipment, food and an apron to use on the day.
Our day courses run from 10.15am to 4pm. Join the team for early morning refreshments from 10am.
