This half-day baking course for teenagers is perfect for those who have a passion for baking and are hoping to expand their repertoire of skills. This course covers how to make 2 types of pastry and how to make delicious bread.
The chef teaching this course will be one of our classically trained chefs, who has year of experience teaching teenagers and passing all their passion for food in an engaging way.
The techniques learnt on this baking course for teenagers are:
- How to make choux pastry
- How to make short crust pastry
- How to make a delicious, light focaccia bread
The bakes learnt on this course will be:*
- Profiteroles with a chocolate sauce
- Focaccia bread
- Classic lemon tart

Lunch is not provided on the teenage baking course.
All equipment and aprons are provided for the duration of the course. We do ask participants to bring three large tins to take their freshly baked goodies home in.
All of our baking and cookery courses take place atour cookery school on the Catton Hall estate in Derbyshire. Withexcellent transport links and ample free parking we are a convenient locationfor guests visiting from around the country.
