Sara Danesin: the expert chef who will take you through the course

Your one-day Sicilian cookery course will be led by chef Sara Danesin Medio. Sara is a 2011 BBC Masterchef finalist, whose primary area of expertise is exceptional Italian and Sicilian cuisine. Sara blends her heritage with modern cooking techniques to create stylish, appealing, delicious dishes.

Sara believes in sharing her passion and skills, and stresses the benefits of using quality ingredients, a professional presentation, and a dash of creativity. Her traditional heritage can be clearly seen in her cuisine. Some of Sara’s most fond childhood memories include hunting for wild asparagus and mushrooms with her father and using those foraged ingredients to create beautiful dishes for her family.

This Sicilian cookery course will teach you how to make an authentic Sicilian /meal from scratch. Sara, will guide you through the day with a series of demonstrations giving you the confidence to recreate these dishes back at your own work stations.
