Seasoned is one of the UK’s leading cookery schools with the ethos to “to inspire people with food”. This is relayed throughout all the cookery courses and events that they offer.

Seasoned is based in the beautiful courtyard of the private Catton Hall Estate in South Derbyshire. Set amongst beautiful countryside, the red brick courtyard provides a perfect backdrop for a luxurious day.

The business is owned and run privately, by a young entrepreneur with a passion for food. Clare Major began the company in 2010. After two years running courses in north Derbyshire, the business moved to Catton Hall in 2012, renovating what used to be the ‘old stables’ into what is now a large open plan teaching kitchen with high end domestic appliances.

Cookery courses Seasoned has over 25 different cookery course options and is continually expanding and adding new courses to represent current food trends.

All of the courses are taught be chefs who have a genuine passion for their chosen cuisine. Many Seasoned chefs started their culinary careers on popular televisions shows such as Masterchef and the Great British Bake Off.

Great British Bake Off finalists who teach baking courses at Seasoned include:

– Beca Lyne Pirkis (semi finalist in 2013)

– Ruth Clemens (finalist in 2010)

Masterchef finalists who teach cookery courses at Seasoned include:

– Sara Danesin (finalist in 2011)

– Jackie Kearney (finalist in 2011)

– Andrew Kojima (finalist in 2012)

– Claire Hutchings (professional masterchef finalist in 2012)

Corporate Team Building – In recent years Seasoned has seen a high increase in the number of companies who want a cookery related team building. Food is an incredible medium to bring teams of all ages and dynamics together. Team Bake Off and Masterchef experience are two of the most popular corporate cookery days.
