Your chef tutor
Norman Musa is a well-established chef, renowned for his love of Malaysian and South East Asian cuisine. He moved to the UK from Malaysia in 1994, originally to complete a construction management degree. However, in spite of a successful career in the construction industry, the pull of his passion for food was too strong. He made the switch to make it into his day job, opening his first restaurant in Manchester in 2006.
Not content with that, Norman has gone on to do a wide range of activities within food. He was the chef for the Lotus Formula One team, travelling all around the world with them. He’s written three cookbooks including his latest, Amazing Malaysian.
Norman regularly teaches at cookery schools across the UK and Europe, in addition to launching a private dining supper club. His passion for the huge variety of cuisines of Southern Asia makes him the perfect person to teach this course.
