- Flaky caramelised onion sausage rolls
- Iced fig and orange filled shortbreads.
- Pear and stilton mini quiches.
- With a chocolate orange Yule log (Demonstration)

- Preparing and baking different types of gluten free pastry
- The scientific principles of gluten free baking and how it differs from traditional baking
- Understanding the different gluten free flours and their uses
This one day cookery course is perfect for those wanting to gain confidence with gluten free baking. You will be able to go home and recreate the dishes time and time again.
Your chef tutor
Your chef tutor, Stephanie Clubb is one of the most accomplished gluten free chefs in the UK, which makes her the perfect person to teach this course. Her passion for the development of gluten free food means she has a vast array of recipes, all of which are absolutely delicious.
Steph has seen for herself how this course can be such a game-changer, whether its down to customers individual needs, or that of their family.
About your day
Our baking courses take place on the Catton Hall Estate. On the picturesque Derbyshire and Staffordshire border, we are only minutes from the A38. We also have plenty of free parking.
You’ll have the support of our “kitchen fairies” who’ll ensure you have everything you need. We’ll provide an apron for the day, and all the equipment and ingredients.
Your day includes a delicious light lunch served with wine or soft drinks. Please bring three large containers so you can take home your delicious creations.
Our day courses run from 10:15am to 4pm. Join the team for early morning refreshments from 10am.
Book your place
Just because you eat gluten free, does not mean you have to miss out on certain foods. The skills you learn will be adaptable to all types of cooking. With the increase in food intolerance awareness there is an increased demand for courses of this type. Remember to book your place early, to avoid disappointment.
