About the Course

Join us for this one day Gluten Free baking course, which will focus on inspiring bakes that coeliacs and non coeliacs can enjoy.

Your chef for the day is Stephanie Clubb.  Stephanie is a gluten free expert having developed gluten free recipes for one of the country's leading gluten free suppliers. Stephanie's passion is teaching people to bake interesting and innovative gluten free bakes in their own home - unlike anything that can be purchased in a traditional bakery or supermarket.


Techniques you will learn on this baking course:

- How to make a delicious and versatile gluten free bread

- How to make gluten free pastry

- How to make a delicious gluten free sweet treat

- The science behind gluten free baking and how it differs from traditional baking

- Which flours to use in order to produce the best bakes


Recipes on this gluten free baking course*:

- Delicious bagels 
- Apple shortcakes 
- Savoury pastry 
- Choux (demonstration) 


*We reserve the right to change dishes if dietary requirements or allergies necessitate.


The perfect baking course for..... people who are on a gluten free diet and want to enjoy a range of delicious bakes that you normally wouldn't be able to find in a bakery or patisserie shop.  Or alternatively - if you work in a restaurant / food business and want to develop a gluten free range. 


 **NB - whilst all of the recipes on the gluten free baking course will be gluten free, the Seasoned kitchen is not a gluten free environment**


Lunch is provided on the gluten free baking course as well as all equipment and aprons. (For baking courses, we just ask that you bring three large biscuit tins to take your freshly baked goodies home in). 

All of our baking and cookery courses take place at our cookery school on the Catton Hall estate on the Derbyshire / Staffordshire border.  With excellent transport links and ample free parking we are a convenient location for guests visiting from around the country.
