About the Course

Join us for this one day fresh and tasty Asian cookery course, and you will learn how to make a variety of delicious vegetarian Asian dishes using fresh and fragrant ingredients which are all free from wheat and gluten. On this fun and action packed day you will learn new skills and techniques that you can recreate at home.

This Fresh and Tasty Asian cookery course is taught by David Bailey who is a trained chef who has worked for over eighteen years in a number of leading restaurants across the UK, including some of the top vegetarian restaurants. David also has a vast deal of experience teaching vegetarian, vegan and raw food classes throughout the UK. David and his wife Charlotte have also written a vegan cook book, 'The Fresh Vegan Kitchen'. David now runs an award winning street food business 'Wholefood Heaven'.

Techniques you will learn on this Fresh & Tasty Asian Cookery Course :

- How to make delicious Asian inspired vegetarian, gluten free & wheat-free dishes

- Learn how to combine spices and flavour combinations to make a free-from curry

- How to make flavoursome energy balls

- How to make a scrumptious vegan dessert

Recipes on our Modern Vegetarian Course:

PLEASE NOTE - This course is suitable for vegans. 

Please note that this cookery course takes place on the Catton Hall Estate at our purpose built venue.  There is a working farm and a commercial game shoot on the estate & meat based cookery courses do take place on other days in the kitchens.  This should not effect your enjoyment of the day, however guests with strict vegan beliefs may wish to contact us before booking to discuss any concerns that you may have. 

Lunch is provided on this modern vegetarian cookery course as well as all equipment and aprons for you to use for the duration of the course. Most of the food created will be consumed on the day and you will leave with the knowledge to recreate it all at home.

All of our cookery courses take place at our purpose built cookery school on the Catton Hall Estate in South Derbyshire. With ample free parking our location is easy to find & within easy reach of Leicester, Birmingham and Nottingham.

Please inform us when booking onto the course if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. Please note however that we are not always able to cater for severe dietary requirements.
