Chalet Chef Course (5 day)

About the Course

There is a specific skill set needed to be a chalet chef, this is why on our Chalet Chef Course  you will be taught all aspects of working as high end chalet chef from a man who works in the best chalet in France, Liam Malcolmson.

The week long course is designed to develop your current skills so you are able to get your dream job working in the mountains. As part of your week with us you will design your own personalised menu plan, which is essential to have when applying for chalet chef jobs.

To help you find you ideal chalet chef job you will get the chance to be registered with specialist ski recruitment company Silver Swan, who will be on site to meet with you in person, at the end of the course.

  • Group discussions and tasting

  • Budgeting in a chalet
  • Presenting your food and table presentation
  • Writing menus and describing your food to your guests
  • Learning how to impress your guests
  • CV review
  • Recruitment registration with specialist ski recruitment company Silver Swan Recruitment

Timings of your 5 day chalet chef course:

Monday: 11am arrival - 6pm finish

Tuesday: 10 am start - 6pm finish

Wednesday: 10 am start - 6pm finish

Thursday: 10 am start - 6pm finish

Friday: 9am start - 2pm depart


What you will need to bring:

Either a camera or smartphone to take pictures of your finished dishes. This is essential so you have evidence to show your potential employers.


Accommodation:

Accommodation will be provided as part of your chalet chef course package, to find out more information about where you will be staying visit our 'Accommodation' section.


Costs & Payment:

The cost of the course will be £995, which needs to be paid in full at least 6 weeks before the start of your course. This can be done by one off payment online, or by paying a £200 deposit over the phone & the balance at least 6 weeks prior to the course start date.
