Our bread making courses are taught by Great British Bake Off finalist Ruth Clemens and gluten free specialist Steph Clubb. Each aimed at a different style & level of bread making, all of our bread courses aim to inspire you to bake bread confidently at home.
Our bread making courses are designed to help progression – from mastering basic white crusty rolls on Ruth’s ‘Bread making made easy’ course, to perfecting your enriched doughs with Sticky Toffee Chelsea buns on our ‘Creative Bread Baking’ course with Steph.
On the courses you are encouraged to ask as many questions as you like and all of our chefs would be more than happy to help.

On all of the bread making courses ingredients are included, as well as equipment and an apron to use for the duration of the course. We are also lucky enough to have ‘kitchen fairies’ who will do the washing up on the course, so all you have to do is listen, learn and enjoy.
We do ask that you bring three large biscuit tins on all of the above courses so you are able to take your delicious creations home with you in one piece. You will be reminded of this when booking which you can do both online or over the phone.
Due to the popularity of our bread making courses we do suggest if you find a course you like and date you can make you book it as quick as possible to avoid disappointment.
Our cookery school is located on the Catton Hall estate in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside, just off the A38 20 minutes from the centre of Lichfield. There is also ample free parking available in the walled car park opposite the cookery school.
