Welcome Harriet to Seasoned Cookery School
We would like to welcome our new Marketing Intern, Harriet to the Seasoned team. Harriet will be with us for a year – looking after customer bookings, the Seasoned website & PR.
To get to know Harriet, here’s a little introduction.
What has been your top foodie discovery recently?
A: Although I have only recently joined the team at Seasoned Cookery School as Marketing Intern, I have already discovered many new tips & tricks to perfect my cooking. However my new foodie discovery would have to be jam doughnuts, I made a small batch the other day to share with the girls at Seasoned and they went down a treat!
Where is the best place you’ve eaten at recently?
A: I recently went for lunch at a small restaurant in Holt-Norfolk called Byfords. For lunch I had sharing plater which included Hot and crispy calamari, harissa & lime mayo and Crispy chilli beef, sweet chilli relish, which was truly tasty. However they had the most incredible cake selection and I devoured a slice of delicious homemade Banana bread, fresh out the oven.
What dish are you currently wanting to perfect?
A: I would love to perfect a Pad Thai, hopefully i’ll have gain a few tips from Jackie Kearney on our Malaysian & Thai Cuisine course.
What is your food heaven & your food hell?
A: My food heaven would have to rosemary & garlic studded camembert with fresh warm crusty bread served with apricot chutney. My food hell would be anything containing to chilli, as I can’t deal with too much spice.
What have you got planned in the next month or two?
A: I’m going to Salcombe & Cornwall with some friends towards the end of August which I am very excited about. Hopefully I will be able to source some local seafood restaurants & dive into to the catch of the day.
