It’s that time of year again, where we sit in anticipation, watching the hopeful contestants bake their hearts out, rising to the weekly challenges in hope to be crowned The Great British Bake Off champion!
BAKE OFF MANIA IS BACK!
The bakers have been whittled down from 16,000 applicants to just 12, through vigorous interview processes & auditions. The variety of contestants this year are the certainly the key ingredients for an entertaining series.
Tune into BBC 1 on Wednesday 5th August for the 6th series of the Great British Bake Off, and watch the 12 new contestants take to the stage for the first time. The first show will see the contestants baking a Madeira cake, the classic 1970s Black Forest gateau as well as, the frosted walnut cake. With other weeks involving more complex baking skills such as pastries, bread & pies.
With the Great British Bake Off back, the nation will be inspired & excited to get baking!
