March is the perfect time to support charity.  Comic Relief is on the horizon and we are giving away a private dinner for up to 24 people to raise money for two fantastic charities.

The prize

The prize is dinner for 24 people – choose your friends, family or colleagues, it’s entirely up to you. The winner will be able to bring their own wine & beer and let the Seasoned team cook up a storm in the kitchen for them, it promises to be a memorable event!  Enjoy some canapes whilst the Seasoned team head into the kitchen to prepare your chosen dishes. Should you win, the menu can be flexible to suit you and your guests although we would love to cook a curry!

Comic Relief Day is a major charity based in the UK which strives to create a just world free from poverty vulnerable people and communities in the UK and internationally.

Red Nose Day is the perfect time to raise some money for this cause.

 

 

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People

Rainbows

The only hospice in the East Midlands which provides support and care for life limited children and young people and their families. Established in 1994 it has opened it’s doors to offer specialist respite, palliative and end of life care to those who need it. The centre relies on donations, with only 15% of its funding coming from government bodies.

 

 

Who will be cooking?

For one night’s special, you will be treated to the culinary skills of the Seasoned team. All keen foodies and usually seen helping our expert chefs run our usual cookery courses, Clare, Jules, Tania and Louise will be the masters of the kitchen at your event.

Here’s a little information on the fabulous four who will be cooking for you on the night:

Clare – founder and owner of Seasoned Cookery School, Clare is a busy mum of 3 and wife to a dairy farmer, loves feeding hoards of people, and is often seen serving an Indian banquet at home.  Her favourite dishes are Beef curry with her home grown beef, Monisha’s Sambhar Dahl & Meera Sodha’s Cauliflower khorma.

Jules – a well known face here at Seasoned helping out in the office and the kitchen and making sure everything runs smoothly.  Jules loves baking with her daughter and one of her favourite recipes is Raspberry Cheesecake Brownies.

Tania – queen of the kitchen and helps ensure all our chefs are well looked after.  One of Tania’s favourite cookbooks is Monisha’s Indian Cookery Course.  You will be in great hands with Tania at the helm.

Louise – the latest addition to the Seasoned team tasked with looking after the website, Louise likes all sorts of cuisines and travelling. Favourite dishes include Spanish staples like tortilla and paella.
