It can be tricky finding the right present for the loved ones in your life. Here at Seasoned we’ve put together our ultimate foodie Christmas gift guide with some of our favourite presents for 2018, even for the people you think don’t like cooking.
Great British Bake Off Fan
We’re lucky enough to have past GBBO contestant working with us at Seasoned. Beca Lyn-Pirkis teaches courses that teach a range of skills including pastry, macarons and doughnuts.
Clueless in the kitchen
We all know someone who wants to get more confident in the kitchen but doesn’t know where to start or needs to move on from baked beans on toast.
Our bread making and sourdough courses are quickly becoming some of our most popular courses. These course are taught by expert Andy Tyrrell and you’ll even go home with your own sourdough starter to nurture.
All serious foodies need a good kitchen knife. We use IOShen knives on our courses, with our personal favourite being the oriental cleaver. A day on our knife skills course would be the perfect partner for the knife.
Lover of British produce and game
If you know someone who loves food and drink, but not so much cooking our Tim Maddams course – Forage & Feastis the perfect gift. It’s a day involving gin, walk, forage, a leisurely lunch all paired with the finest British drinks.
We’ve got international cuisine covered with courses from Japan, Italy, Spain, Sicily, Thailand, Middle Eastern and more. Our courses Jenny Chandler bring some exotic, fragrant smells to the Seasoned kitchen. Or you could try some of our Asian & Thai courses with MasterChef’s Julie Lin and Andrew Kojima.
Successful entertaining is an art. We can show them how to cook the perfect menu on our Modern British course with MasterChef’s Jack Lucas and as the gift giver you can hopefully reap the benefits of delicious food.
Gluten Free Baker
Steph Clubb, our resident gluten free expert, will show how to make gluten free treats on this gluten free baking course. Perfect for those who are on a gluten free diet or who want to know how to bake gluten free breads, pasties and cakes.
And finally, for the little ones…
While we don’t do courses for children surely no self-respecting mini foodie should be without a wooden play cheeseboard.
