Seasoned Cookery School: Business Award Winners

Posted on 03/12/13

Last month Seasoned Cookery School was crowned the ‘Most promising new start up’  in the Burton Mail 2013 Business Awards – an accolade which we are very proud of.

Seasoned faced tough competition from other local businesses such as ‘The Red Carpet Cinema’ & a local telecoms company but we were thrilled to be announced as the winner at the awards dinner held at the Pirelli stadium.

Seasoned was commended on the company’s organisational skills, the focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience and the relationships built up with corporate clients.

The Seasoned team has grown to include 12 freelance chefs, including Masterchef and Great Britsh Bake Off finalists, all of whom are passionate about their particular sphere of teaching.

Clare, Seasoned’s owner set up the business three years ago.  Over the last 3 years the business has continued to expand with a growing number of cookery courses and cookery team building days for corporate clients.

Clare wasn’t the only Seasoned Team member who was nominated for a prize. Katie Brooke, who many of you will know was also nominated for for ‘Young Employee of the Year’ award.  Katie was a finalist in her category and despite not  winning the award she was commended on her achievements.  We are thrilled that Katie will be returning to Seasoned after completing her finals at Lancaster University next summer.
