In January we were very excited for Luis Troyano to teach his first ever pastry cooking course with us, so we thought we would share the day with you!

Like all of Seasoned cookery courses the day started with refreshments and some delicious chocolate peanut squares, which of courses went down a treat with all of our guests.

 

Then at 10.30 the baking commenced! The day was full of delicious bakes, fun anecdotes about the Great British Bake Off and Luis sharing his top tips.

 

On the course everyone made 3 bakes, a bake well tart (one of Luis specialties), Blueberry cheesecake éclairs, and a hot water crust pork pie, all of which were taken home to share with family and friends.

“It has been a fun day and I can’t believe everything I made came out great. Luis is a great teacher and it was nice to get some of the back stage gossip from the Bake Off tent.”

 

We are very pleased that everyone is getting behind Luis and supporting him on his new teaching venture.
