Claire Hutchings: 2 Evenings with a Professional Masterchef
We have been lucky enough to have worked with Professional Masterchef finalist, Claire Hutchings for two fantastic demo & dine evenings: ‘An Evening with a Professional Masterchef’ & ‘A 5 Course Taster Menu by a Professional Masterchef’.
Claire wowed Michel Roux Jr, Monica Galeti and Gregg Wallace during her time on the 2011 Professional Masterchef series with her innovative, well executed and delicious dishes, so much so that she made it to the final.
Claire is full of innovative ideas and this really translated through into the dishes created for both evenings. Both evenings started with 6 different canapes which included:
Pork crackles, beetroot macaroons with horseradish cream, parmesan arancini balls with wild sorrel aioli and squid ink crackers with salmon mousse.
Claire then did a demonstration of one of the dishes that diners would be enjoying during the evening showing how to create each individual element of the finished dish along with answering any food related questions.

Crab with chicken parfait and heritage carrots
Confit salmon with apple and cauliflower
Coconut parfait with passionfruit, blackberries and yoghurt & lime sorbet
Claire has now moved to Majorca where she works as a chef in a Michelin starred restaurant. We were extremely privileged to work with such a talented professional chef and are hoping to recreate these fantastic evenings again in the near future.
