It’s been fantastic to welcome back Claire Hutchings to Seasoned Cookery School this year! Claire has been hosting her series of fine dining evening with us for the past three years, creating spectacular Michelin Starred style food as a 5 course taster menu. This year our evenings were extremely popular, selling out all 8 of our evenings.
Claire Hutchings was born and bought up in Birmingham. Since being a finalist on the 2011 professional MasterChef, Claire has worked in some of the country’s top restaurants and currently Claire lives in Mallorca, working at Michelin starred Zarranda restaurant. Each year Claire travels home to see her family over the Christmas period, and we partner up with Claire Hutchings to create these marvelous fine dining evenings.
The evenings started at 7pm with welcome drinks & Canapés. Claire then demonstrated how to prepare and make one of the dishes on the evenings, illustrating the key elements of the dish. The dish she demonstrated was Kaffir Lime Panna cotta, which is a smooth a zesty dessert.
Once the demonstration had finished, guests were shown to their seats before being wowed by the delicious 5 courses.
Claire Hutchings & her Sous Chef Sangeeta spent many days preparing the superb food, allowing for the fine dining evening to run smoothly. Over the 8 days Claire & Sangeeta served over 192 people, with over 960 plates of fine food being plated up.
