The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education (NIACE), is an organisation that endeavors to keep everyone learning no matter what life stage they are at. In May and June this year NIACE have been holding ‘have a go’ workshops and walk in sessions all over the UK to try and encourage people back into the classrooms and kitchens!
Astonishingly their most recent survey found 39% of adults wanted to get better at cooking and baking. After we found this out we decided to hold a ‘have a go’ workshop to teach people a key baking skill, bread making.
On our morning bread making workshop people will be able to learn the key skills and techniques of making bread from a much loved former Great British Bake Off finalist, Luis Troyano.
The cookery workshop will be held at our cookery school in South Derbyshire, which is located just 30 minutes from Birmingham and 20 minutes from Lichfield City Centre. There is ample free parking on site or if you are travelling by train we are close to Lichfield Trent Valley station and Burton Train Station.
See below for all the key information about the workshop, or to take a look at the other workshops that are running by visiting the NIACE website.
