About Rayeesa Asghar-Sandys
Rayeesa Asghar-Sandys, an ex-met police officer turned Indian chef, started a business from her own kitchen where she developed her love for cooking and perfecting an authentic Indian sauce. With this idea in mind, Rayeesa put forward her idea of a ‘frozen cooking sauce’ to BBC’s Be Your Own Boss show. The fantastic idea was shortlisted by Richard Reed where he described the product as “Knock out delicious!”. Since then, Rayeesa’s sauces have been sold across various deli’s, food markets and supermarkets.
Rayeesa’s dedication to spreading the love of Indian food led her to decide to teach others how to cook amazing Indian cuisine, and she has been teaching for over a decade. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to every teaching session, Rayeesa Asghar-Sandys makes Indian cookery a joy for all. Her friendliness and charm keep everyone engaged and the clear, practical way that she explains every step of a recipe is deigned to give even total beginners total confidence in the basics of Indian cuisine.
