Derbyshire Carers
Cooking provides the ideal restpite activity for full time carers. The carers come to their local village hall for a workshop lasting from 10-2, giving them time to relax, meet with other carers, cook some delicious food and enjoy eating it!
The sessions gave carers a sociable enjoyable time and learnt valueable skills that they can take back home to improve the lives of the people they care for.

Workshops for Teenage Cancer Patients
Seasoned recently provided a cooking day for teenagers who are undergoing treatment for cancer at University College Hospital in London.
The session, funded by the Amy Wallace Magpie Trust focused on giving the students the skills and confidence to cook dishes that were tasty and nutritious. The session was a resounding success, with the youngsters creating Thai noodle soup, Home-made burgers with salsa, risotto and chocolate truffles.

'The truth behind fast food' workshop for schools
We were asked by Blessed William Howard School to be involved in a healthy eating day and to inspire students to stay away from junk food. What better place to start than explaining to students what goes into the traditional fast food burger?
Students were shown the different cuts of beef that go into fast food burgers before making their own with lean beef mince, breadcrumbs, herbs and free range eggs. The result were beautiful burgers and smiles all round!
