Seasoned Courses was established to supply a niche in the ‘cookery school’ market – supplying excellent food education at venues across the Midlands.
Our team
We are passionate about teaching people of all ages and abilities to cook. We love sharing our knowledge about food; whether it is teaching people to cook the perfect steak, smoke their own smoked salmon or teaching a community group to cook healthily.
We run day courses from a beautiful location in the Peak District and travel all over the Midlands providing cookery experiences for Groups and the Community, tailoring courses around your needs.
Seasoned's founder, Clare Tetley has a keen interest in food education in schools and the well-documented positive effects of food on health and social cohesion. Hence education in Schools and the Community is very close to our heart.
We believe that the most important aspect of your cookery experience is the expertise of the chef teaching you. Therefore we work to find the best chefs with different specialities who can teach and inspire you. Whether you are looking to perfect your pasta, teach children to cook for the first time or celebrate a birthday or team achievement we can tailor cookery events around your requirements.
We believe that people learn best by doing, hence our courses include a mixture of hands on work, cooking in pairs and Chef Demonstrations to ensure that you get the most out of your day.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and to help us record information, improve our products and services and send promotional news and customize the website / newsletter to suit your needs. We may also contact you for market research purposes.
We are committed to ensuring that the data you provide is secure and have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard your information. We will not sell or distribute your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

If you believe that any information we holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
To secure booking on a course full payment is required, without full payment your place is not guaranteed.
Courses will only take place if the minimum number is met. The minimum number of students per course is 5. If, 28 days prior to the course date the number of minimum bookings has not been met we reserve the right to cancel any course. In such circumstances a refund / alternative date will be given.
If you cancel over 6 weeks before the start of the course you can choose an alternative date or course of an equivalent value. If you cancel within 6 weeks of the course you may forfeit your place. Any re-allocation of course date is at our discretion and subject to your place being filled. A transfer fee of £20 per person is applicable.
For group bookings, at our discretion we will accept a 50% deposit to secure the booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before the activity.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of date of issue. Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and no refund is available after 7 days of purchase.
Recipients must book onto a course of their choice prior to the course date. When the recipient has booked onto a course our cancellation policy stated above then applies. If the recipient would like to upgrade onto a more expensive course they are able to pay the difference. If they book onto a course of lesser value a credit note will be given, redeemable against any other course.
When redeeming your Gift Voucher the Issue number must be provided and the Gift Voucher brought with you on the course date or posted to us in advance of the course. Gift Vouchers are subject to verification at the time of presentation.
